Customers always ask us the difference between satin woven labels and damask woven labels?
Well, Satin polyester threads weave the background, while regular damask polyester threads are used to weave the text and design on your label.
Damask woven labels are made of 100% polyester threads. The background material whether it be white or black or red or blue it is also covered with that same thread color.  This label is soft and durable.  For a woven label on satin material the background material is not polyester it is satin.  We offer various satin woven labels. The text and/or artwork are woven into the satin material. This label is also soft and durable but the satin material has a sheen to it.
Also, the density are different.Satin woven label is one of salvage woven label, it has glossy surface and salvage edge. It is starched and seems high grad. But The threads for satin woven are a little thick; the surface will have small holes. Damask woven label is one of the computerized woven labels. It is the high quality woven label; the threads are thinnest which can show fine details.
The max threads  on one labels are different. For satin labels, the threads are much less than damask woven labels.Damask woven labels can be 8 colors, but satin, we’d better do them at less than 4 colors.
Why choose satin woven labels over damask?
Good question. Both are great and both are durable but if you want a smooth background with a “sheen” to it, then a satin background is the way to go.Satin is priced the exact same as damask, so making the choice can be difficult. Most people who choose satin prefer the look and feel of the satin weave over the damask. If you are making vintage inspired clothing or accessories, satin would be a good fit. It’s also great for infant apparel. If you want a label with lots of color and detail, satin woven labels might not be right for you, as you are limited in background color options.

Most finished products need labels, such as paper labels/vinyl labels/woven labels/leather labels/metal labels or tags.  Here I’d like to introduce the woven labels. As you can see, woven labels are more preferred by garments, bags, shoes, hats, gifts, sofa, quilt, luggage, toy designer or manufactory or seller.

There are three main kinds woven labels such as satin woven labels, damask woven labels, cotton woven labels etc.

Satin Woven Label:  it is glossy on the surface, look like silk; the top and bottom edge is weaved, hard to transformation, which makes it high-grade. But the warps for weaving the logos/letters in satin woven labels are 100 deniers thickness, so the weaved logos/letters seems relatively rough; it can’t express much detailed details. However, they are always for high quality garments such as clothing, wedding dresses, baby clothing, robes and scarves, which is soft and great for touch the skin.

Damask woven label have texture as the background. The top and bottom edge of damask woven labels is heat cut or ultrasonic cut, very easy to transformation. But the warps for weaving the logos/letters in damask woven labels can be 50 deniers thinnest. 50D woven labels we said is this kind of woven label. The weaved logos/letters are exquisite; they can show the details very clearly. But they are not so soft as satin ones.

Cotton woven labels can be plain cotton or twill cotton, which is soft and perfect for baby clothing. But usually, it’s printed with screen printing or heat transfer printing or sublimation printing.

Here at hichinaprinting, All woven labels can be customized and we would follow your requirements. Many cuts are available such as Straight Cut, Centerfold(folded in half with a fold on one side and loose ends on other-label is sewn from loose ends), Cut/End Folded(label ends are folded inward for stitching on the inside of folds. If you have labels to do, do contact us now.

Calendars are printed every year. A calendar is a system of organizing days for social, religious, commercial, or administrative purposes. This is done by giving names to periods of time, typically days, weeks, months, and years. The name given to each day is known as a date. Periods in a calendar (such as years and months) are usually, though not necessarily, synchronized with the cycle of the sun or the moon. Many civilizations and societies have devised a calendar, usually derived from other calendars on which they model their systems, suited to their particular needs.

A calendar is also a physical device (often paper with printing on). This is the most common usage of the word. Other similar types of calendars can include computerized systems, which can be set to remind the user of upcoming events and appointments.

A calendar can also mean a list of planned events, such as a court calendar with different printings.

In China, companies send calendars with printing about the company as present at the beginning of a year. So they can improve relationship with customers and also as a kind of advertisement.

In a newly eco-conscious business world, an environmentally friendly image can make the difference between profit and loss, such as brochures designing and printing. One of the quickest and most effective ways to let your customers know your business is environmentally friendly is using an eco-friendly printer for your marketing materials, especially for brochure printing.

Being environmentally conscious as a business has become a mark of a forward thinking, responsible and profitable businesses, such as brochures designing and printing. Besides helping the environment, using eco-friendly brochures is a cost effective, efficient way for new businesses to attract consumers with their environmentally friendly image, or for old businesses to update and improve their image.

It only takes something as small as a tiny icon on the back of your brochure printed to give consumers the impression of an eco-friendly business. Many images, such as the ubiquitous recycling label or the tree shaped “post consumer waste” label are commonly recognized and are the fastest way to promote an environmentally friendly image. Since people tend to hang onto brochures anyway, it is easy to capitalize on that image by putting a note on the back asking consumers to recycle their brochure when they are finished with it, or making it out of a material that is easily reusable for another purpose.

Eco-friendly materials have come along way from simple recycled paper. Rather than simply relying on color printing to grab consumers’ attention, why not use a more visually and tactilely attractive material? Many higher end eco-friendly printing shops can provide paper made out of materials as exotic as banana plants, coffee, or even rocks. Using such an unusual material for brochure printing can be really eye catching to consumers and opens up the door for very creative marketing that sticks with customers.

Even more traditional brochures can still promote an eco-friendly image by using environmentally friendly inks. Made of sustainable materials like corn and soy, these inks provide the same quality of color printing as traditional inks, and can be a subtle, but effective way to include an environmentally friendly aspect to your marketing. In the long run, using eco-friendly inks or an eco-friendly printer can even save money, as the ink cartridges are refillable and reusable.

With all the benefits of traditional brochure marketing, eco-friendly brochures are a clearly effective marketing tool. While still affordable for companies, eco-friendly brochures are not only an attractive way of marketing, but also give consumers more confidence in your company.

Are you wasting your most powerful marketing weapon, business cards? Forget the classifieds, the billboards, the radio ads and even the banner exchanges. For sheer affordability (under a penny each if you buy in bulk) and versatility, you can’t beat the humble business card.

Remember when you first started your business, passing business cards? If you’re like most small business owners, business cards were your first marketing- related purchase. It was thrilling to see that fresh-printed symbol of business legitimacy, wasn’t it? Nothing says “I’m in business” like passing out your very own business card.

Truth is, it’s TOUGH to design an attention-getting card, find just the right way to give it to prospects, and then organize all those cards you collect. It takes some knowledge, and it takes some practice. But believe me, it’s worth it. Business cards are portable, versatile, readily accepted worldwide, and so cheap you can’t afford NOT to use them!

Unfortunately, many people discover that not everyone is as eager to GET their card as they are to GIVE it. You may not even be using your cards much anymore.

Convinced? Then here are some basic tips to get you started (or get you going again.)

Designing an attention-getting card:

Spend a little time determining how you’ll use your card and who will receive it. A previous customer probably needs to know less about product benefits but may appreciate fuller contact information. A card often given to prospective customers should be more marketing- oriented.
Keep it simple and legible, with plenty of white space. If you overcrowd the card, it won’t get read. The most basic info is your name, your company name, and your phone number (which should be in bold text or a larger size, if there are other numbers on the card.)
Add color! The vast majority of cards are printed in black ink on white card stock. Full-color cards are available these days at very economical prices, yet are still unique enough to attract attention.
Use your business card to drive traffic to your website.
Prospecting creatively with business cards:

The way you present your card has far more to do with your success than your card itself. Presenting your card with both hands, for example, creates an enormous psychological impact (“Hey, this must be important!”)

If you can’t seem to find a suitable moment to give your card to someone you feel could be a great prospect, ask for his or her card. (In fact, ask for two or three. Tell them you want extras to distribute to people you know.) Odds are, they’ll ask for your card in return.

Introduce yourself with your card. Hand your card to the receptionist at the doctor’s office, the hostess at the restaurant, or the technician at the auto repair shop.
Include your card with all correspondence. Enclose your card when you return rented goods … everything from tools to videotapes to automobiles (especially if it’s a luxury model!)
Offer to include business cards on your web site as a community service (announce this to the media!)

Refer business to others. Offer to include the cards of business people you respect with your mailings, if they’ll agree to do the same with yours. Join a business-networking group.
Organizing cards:

Jot notes on the back of cards you’re given, such as date, event, common interests, physical characteristics of the giver, type of information you need to send, and so on. Do this right away, before you forget. (When you want to be discreet about writing notes on the back of newly acquired business cards, excuse yourself to go to the restroom. Lock yourself in a stall and write!)
Rate prospects *A*, *B* or *C*, with *A* being a hot prospect and *C* a lukewarm lead. Write the rating on the back of their card.

Develop a system for carrying and collecting business cards, and file them the way you remember them (by company name, person’s name, or industry.)
A cigarette case or compartmented coin purse can be used to temporarily organize business cards.
Set yourself a goal of giving out 5 or 10 cards daily, and very soon, you’ll be getting the attention (and the money!) you wanted. And that’s why you went into business, isn’t it?

removing ink and other finishing materials, like coatings, sizing, and adhesives from printed paper.

The complex deinking process is what makes recycling paper difficult and ultimately adds to the cost of a recycled sheet of paper. To produce high-quality recycled or recycled content papres for printing and writing, the deinking process needs to be thorough.

The goal is to end up with reusable fiber that has few impurities, since impurities lower the quality of a reycyled sheet and can some- times damage equipment in the papermaking and printing process. Modern offset and flexographic ink, photocopier and laser printing “ink,” ultraviolet and thermography coatings, and adhesives make it increasingly difficult to deink paper. deinking process see also bleaching, flotation, pulping wood, recycled paper.

There are many ways to classify the paper stocks, but generally speaking, most paper stocks used in the printing industry fall into two classifications: uncoated and coated stock.

Uncoated Stocks

Uncoated stock is paper that has no coated pigment applied to reduce the absorbency or increase the smoothness. The uncoated finishes can be described as vellum, antique, wove, or smooth.

Coated Stocks

A coated stock has a surface coating that has been applied to make the surface more receptive for the reproduction of text and images in order to achieve sharper detail and improved color density. By adding a coated clay pigment, the objective of coating the stock is to improve the smoothness and reduce the absorbency. Coated paper finishes can be categorized as matte, dull, cast, gloss, and high gloss. The coating can be on both sides of the stock (coated two sides, “C2S”) or on one side only (coated one side, “C1S”). Coatings added to groundwood papers give them a greater degree of permanency and the natural tendency for goundwood papers to yellow is reduced.
